Dr. Nicole Mantegna, Psy.D.
Dr. Nicole Mantegna, Psy.D., is a clinically and forensically trained and licensed psychologist in Southern California. Dr. Mantegna obtained her degrees from Pepperdine University and Alliant International University specializing in Forensic Psychology. Dr. Mantegna also obtained specialized training with clients with personality disorders, specifically Borderline Personality Disorder and was trained at the Department of Mental Health in Long Beach as well as extensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy training through UCLA. Dr. Mantegna studied abroad in Rome and Naples learning and training with the Italian police force and studying the mafia in Naples. Psychological specialties include: personality disorders, substance abuse disorders, trauma-related disorders, and psychological assessment.

Dr. Mantegna has conducted psychological assessments and individual psychotherapy for over a decade, as well as working part time with the Orange County Superior Court conducting forensic evaluations. Dr. Mantegna specializes in the following forensic assessments: Competency to Stand Trial Evaluations, Custody Evaluations, Risk Evaluations, Criminal Responsibility Evaluations, and sentencing recommendations; as well as personality testing and determining mental health diagnoses.
